That was the problem, I was starting it "as the book says" and i was getting the "lumpy" start syndrome, it would nearly fire up but fail then turn over again several times before she fired up. By doing it the pre ignition/glow plug way it was fireing up first time. Not sure why the handbook does'nt mention it as I can't see any reason why it should'nt be started that way |

The weather has turned much milder now only -8 so I don't expect the lumpy start syndrome as much. Next start I will try your method again and report any acoustic differences compared to what I suspect to be a normal start in these "warmer" temperatures. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. I dont know really, but I dont think so. We produce our own petrol & diesel, so I dont know if they make some spescial blendings to cope better with the cold. But wouldn't it ruin the fuel if they added some antifreeze? I dont know. We have antifreeze in the watercooler though. -And in the flush-water. But it is normal summer temperatures now. Only -7C today. I think I may go to the beach tomorrow. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack. |

A little over overdrive ( exaggeration) from my Vestfold colleague, me thinks as beach weather is at least 27 plus degrees away for me anyway I guess Viking meant windscreen washer anti-freeze and not stuff for stopping the loo freezing (flush-water) 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. I was thinking how you could get antifreeze on to the loo flush but not get it mixed up with drinking water..

Very cold winters due to global warming is possible at least for Western Europe, as the Gulf stream, which brings Europe mild winters, is weakening! Freelander 2 SE 4Td Izmir Blue, Dog cage for Alaskan Malamute, iphone Navigon Navigator |

Well the stealers had the car in thurs night fri ,sat and mon dont think they had a idea on the problem they told me that they had charged the battery as it was low on charge and this confuses the ecu on start up but what ever they did it starts better now with no rough running on start up and did a drain test on the battery and that was okay 07my Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Baltic Blue,Privacy Glass,Ebony black leather,Land rover detachable towbar,S/S Side bars,Climair wind deflectors,Bramble Rash, |
