normally car manufactuers have a wind down period after the warranty they dont tell you but they will still do certain warranty work after it has run out but it is anything up to three months dependend on the fault

This was certainly the situation with my last car a BMW. I was able to get warrenty work done nearly two years after the normal warrenty ran out. For example the two rear suspension springs broke (for some unknown reason) and they were replaced free of charge well over a year after the warenty ran out.

The border line seems to be how far the car has gone and I was told anything under 100,000 kms BMW would fix for (almost) free Thumbs Up

However Land Rover is another kettel of car manufacturer, so who knows where they draw the line Question

My accountant had a new BMW 7 series & just after (as in weeks) the warranty ran out he had 2 expensive claims that BMW would not honour - he paid the first time but the second told what to do with the repairs & got rid!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
