I have 24,1 mpg of diesel. 90% of my traffic is urban

28-29 mpg mostly because of short journeys (less than 5 miles each time) Phil |

Try abstaining from racing Citroen Saxos and you might see an increase also try switching sand mode off! |

After 2000 miles I have to say I’m slightly disappointed but on reading the figures above I will consider myself to be lucky. Urban 31mpg and extra urban between 40 and 46mpg depending on whether I can control my right foot. I’ve filled up 4 times now and each time just below 450 miles on a tank full. When calculated its returning 34 mpg overall so I’m happy with that. My D3 was returning 24mpg on the same commutes. A Land Rover owner since 1988
