Recently swapping cars I have gone from 17's to 19's and I don't find the ride any different I still feel speed bumps and pot holes like before

it will be less smooth and less grippy off road due to less tyre wall flex, but not a huge difference. So unless you do the more extreme off road and need to let your tyre pressures down for that reason you can buy which ever you like .
