Another kick in the balls for Land Rover, with production of the Jag X Type ending at Halewood it was anticipated that the forthcoming LRX would be built there alongside the FL2 that shares the same platform.

True the current rr ds won't. However the next gen ones will. Seen the profiles for em. When defender stops uk production makes 8000 heads at solihull making rr ds only v shaky. 2000 vs 8000. Do the maths!!! Live your life be free-lander |

Solihull makes 3 models LR2maker. FFRR, RRS and Disco4. Plus it presses all the body panels for the New Mini for BMW. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

The defender already made in india under licence esp since tata makin em 4 indian army. If halewood becomes home for all lr vehicles would you be happy? At the mo just glad if jlr still here end of 2010. That's another thread lol Live your life be free-lander |

Yep natwest x type ending year end. Leaves us with fl2 only. Hope we get the lrx, if they do it. We are doin pre build but could move it. Btw tata brought in kpmg to cut costs 2day.
