[For Sale] Freelander 2 DTUK throttle pedal tuning box

5 minutes installation, plugs in line with your throttle pedal.

Makes a significant difference to driveability particularly on an auto gearbox vehicle. My old sd4 metropolis used to be a bit dopey pulling out of junctions and the like and this really sharpened it up. Also accelerated with much more urgency in normal driving and towing. I think there's about 9 settings but the middle one always felt best to me.

You probably won't feel the benefits as much in a manual if I'm honest, but these to liven autos up a fair bit.

They retail at £229

It's surplus to requirements now as the car is gone.. £75

Surprised no one's taken this, it was honestly one of the best things I did to my Freelander. Any reasonable offer takes it, it's just sat here.

What does this do that a ecu remap can't?
My 2013 sd4 auto has poor response compared to my 2008 td4auto it's like nothing happens when you first press the pedal then it surges a little
Makes things like reversing up to the caravan tricky if it's on a slope or any obstruction under the tyres that just stop it from rolling on tickover

I had mine remapped and it was still a bit slow to react. This specifically allows you to find tune the throttle responsiveness which has the effect of livening the gearbox up and easier to creep up to stuff. I towed a lot with my Freelander and it was great

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

This arrived today, fitted and works as described. Went up and down through the various settings and had my eyes opened a bit. Does seem to resolve the lag issue when pulling out at roundabouts etc. Need to do a little more driving about in the car, it's my wife's daily driver so we'll see what she thinks.

Thanks to Yazza54 for a good deal and prompt posting, good man Thumbs Up

Pleased you're happy with it, these units really do work

My favourite setting was the highest responsiveness on the middle program (green light)

I found the red to be a bit extreme.

My sd4 metropolis was remapped to 230hp and with that pedal box fitted it went like a scalded cat

Standard Metropolis, have been mostly driving on the green program with two red flashes, your favourite was three red flashes so I'll add another red when I go to pick my wife up in 10 minutes.

I tried the red with three red flashes when I dropped her off earlier Shocked

I can imagine that on top of 230bhp Rolling with laughter

Cheers buddy Thumbs Up
