Surprised no one's taken this, it was honestly one of the best things I did to my Freelander. Any reasonable offer takes it, it's just sat here. |

I had mine remapped and it was still a bit slow to react. This specifically allows you to find tune the throttle responsiveness which has the effect of livening the gearbox up and easier to creep up to stuff. I towed a lot with my Freelander and it was great |

This arrived today, fitted and works as described. Went up and down through the various settings and had my eyes opened a bit. Does seem to resolve the lag issue when pulling out at roundabouts etc. Need to do a little more driving about in the car, it's my wife's daily driver so we'll see what she thinks.

Standard Metropolis, have been mostly driving on the green program with two red flashes, your favourite was three red flashes so I'll add another red when I go to pick my wife up in 10 minutes.

Fascinated to read that a device like this exists. Throttle delay was one of the first things I noticed when I first got my Freelander. It felt as if th pedal was sticking and made reversing tricky. I sprayed the area with silicon spray and that seem to help - and perhaps I've been become used to it?

One reason why I went for this was for better control over reversing. Between Christmas and New Year I was doing some forestry stuff in North Yorkshire on a track in some steep sided woodland. I'd taken my wife's FL2 because my Terrano 2 was out of action pending MOT preparation. At one point I needed to do a several point turn, backing up to the drop with my buddy behind me guiding. I was less than happy with the jerky control through the accelerator pedal.

There's a fairly neutral "City" setting that simply smoothes out the action from the pedal. This happens before the normal and other terrain programs have their effect. There's no reason why they should be affected other than smoother control, which is a good thing.

Thanks for the reply, not worried about offroading these days, but packed snow can be a challenge
