Well if you got 1300miles out of Britpart ones you did well. I would not even buy a toilet roll from Britpart 2013 FL2 XS.

I am on 76500 miles still on original glow plugs. 2013 FL2 XS.

Did mine at around 150k when I bought the car. All 4 were dead. I have changed the starter, I have the extra earth lead, new AGM battery etc, but it's still sluggish in the -4 mornings of late. The 2.2 x type I have cranks and starts the same in mild or cold weather. It seems from the numerous posts on this subject it's just a trait of (some) of our cars. |

I am on 157000 mls still on original glow plugs……..Bosch or NGK I presume…….

Oxon Pete, every time I come home I switch everything off. Lights, radio, heater etc. Do this from when I had a problem with a Disco 1 many years ago. Just became a habit. Minimise any battery drain till up and running. Jim A
