My XS has the "optional" factory fitted sunroof - My plan is to just remove the power fuse & seal it up with copious amounts of EBT+ if it ever develops a leak.

About three years ago friend of a friend was selling his French Evoque….( the best selling L-Rover in Fr)
I knew it was supposed to be mint condition, & I was thinking about having a car to use & leave in France.
I had a good look at it, 2016, 70k kms……so Ingenium engine…unmarked paintwork, absolutely lovely condition….BUT ….black leather and trim….no sunroof. I sat in & tried it up the road……perfect drive….but after driving Disco’s & FL2 I couldn’t stand the claustrophobic ambiance……windows too small….sit too low.
I said I’d think about it……..it was in such good shape…….even brake calipers still silver-gold ( dry climate) but I researched the Ingenium…problems…..lots on the forums about the early one’s……timing chains, oil dilution, balance-shafts………absolute nightmare……..best avoided. Glad I gave it à wide birth….
