I didn’t do the interior courtesy lights as the led’s were too bright. Ruined any night vision completely.

I have read reports of High Level Stop Lights causing Electrical Interference, although I have not been able to find any LR recent examples.
Therefore I think that it may have been only applicable to earlier LED Upgrades, but may be worth bearing in mind.

I find the boot light too low down; rendering it useless when the boot is loaded up.
I bought some LED lights and stuck them high up on the D pillar and parallel wired into the original light. Jules

I've upgraded the boot lights and puddle lamps to direct replacement white LEDs. The interior, including foot lamps, to mild blue LEDs and the trunk to a white LED. All from AliExpress. It's been over a year and they all work (and look) great.

I bought the led boot light and led interior bulbs dirt cheap from AliExpress with free delivery within a week, I also fitted an led work light on the dog guard, certainly lights up the boot well 💡

I actually removed the boot & footwell globes. When camping 1000km from help, the last thing one needs is a pointless parasitic battery drain.

If we are around the car we only close the doors halfway to avoid the car going through its battery draining cycle thinking that one is driving off.

All cars need a "camping" mode to stop killing the starter battery.

The number of modern cars I have jump started in the outback is out of hand. Two issues, brain dead design & brain dead customers. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Hi mate, very interested in this parasitic drain as I renewed a battery a couple of weeks back and after having doors open fitting deflectors my battery was dead, is there a way to find what is the actual component that is causing a drain please?
Never thought of removing lamp in boot as a start it's no use as it's behind my fitted cover 😣. Diolch. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Lots of you tube movies, but you say you have replaced or added on electrical stuff recently, I assume the dead battery is a new problem
