Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

When camping if we are around the car we just close the doors to the first notch, not fully closed. It is frightening how often one is in & out of the car.

Firstly so the car doesn't go through its wake-up routine everytime you open a door.

Then the internal lights stay on for longer.

Another situation is when sleeping in the back of the car, to lock it at night, one reaches forward press the locking button. So if you need to water a tree at night you can just release the rear door lock button. One can get in & out of the car without it looking like an overlit Christmas tree.

So a number of scenarios where the internal lights stay on too long. It all adds up if camping for longer periods.

Have jump started a few cars in the outback due to these issues. Surprising the number of people in remote areas that don't have jumper leads.

We have a handful of LED torches we can recharge for all lighting requirements. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Lots of you tube movies, but you say you have replaced or added on electrical stuff recently, I assume the dead battery is a new problem

Nothing new added electrical since new battery, a dash cam has been added few years ago with one of those magic box things of which I have no idea or instruction, If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
