The issue with wipers is that they can be really hard to pull off the splines if corroded. I bought a mini-puller for them.

Good idea, I will get one next time.

There is otherwise a great risk of breaking something... like windscreen! I was lucky first time. Not going to push my luck a second time.

Previously link further up this thread of what's under the plastic panel.

Usually it's the rear wiper that requires a puller for me. I spray silicone grease into a hole I drilled into the blower fan propeller annually because it always whines in the fall on startup and when applying the brake. Weird but it works.

On the suggestion of changing the brake fluid as it had been exposed to the air for a day or so, what’s the total volume of fluid in the system? It’s due a service next month which I was considering doing myself so may as well do this. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Not really a DIY job as you need diagnostic equipment to open the ABS valves, the only other alternative is to change the all the fluid by bleeding it through but DO NOT bleed the reservoir dry or air will get in the ABS, once thats done go off road on a slippery surface and brake so the ABS kicks in that will flush the fluid out of the ABS block, then just re bleed again with new fluid. Will need about a litre an half min. 2013 FL2 XS.

Ah yes I had read about the ABS thing. I was planning on bleeding the brakes and regularly topping up the reservoir as I go to make sure it never gets low.

Interesting idea about making the ABS kick in to flush it, I like that. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
