Another neighbour I started her twice within a few weeks... Her car... after suggesting a new battery. My DC clamp meter clearly showed the battery's state of health was an embarrassment to any male. Let's be very blunt!

A starter battery has a life of 4 years. Chuck it. A new battery amortised over 4 years is cheap.

Might even minimise issues for critical situations! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Diolch both for input, belated reply but been in hospital again new battery delivered from Tayna next day, fitted by my local garage free , reset clock and windows good to go again, makes a huge difference when getting in and wondering if it will start

I noticed a sign it wasn't going to start by seeing that the dashboard shows the Trip A and not where I usually got it set on. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
