Rotary gear select (TCS] models?

I’ve been made aware of a late FL2 SD4 low mileage auto soon to be coming on the market locally to me, but I’m told it has the rotary pop up gear selector like the evoque and discos. I’ve never seen a FL2 with this setup nor can I find any data on it when I do a search. Were there any such models of the FL2?
Thx,
Nigel

Never seen or heard of such a Freelander 2. Unless some enthusiastic owner has retro fitted it?
If you plan to view or test drive it take a few photos please and post them on here. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Are you sure that it isn't referring to the Rotary Traction Control Knob.

Although, if it has been modified, I find the FL2 'Lever' gear change easier to cope with than the DS 'Rotary'.

Hopefully I will get a chance to see it in a week to 10 days. I’ll report back what I find.

Probably the knob that Ian Metro has referred to.

Depends on how 'late' it is, latest models have push button terrain response rather than the rotary dial. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Just to close this discussion off, the vehicle was withdrawn from sale so I never got to view it. But going by the registration number it was a 2011 HSE so would have had the rotary terrain response control and the normal command shift auto lever.
