As a side section i found my bleed kits today, which will come in handy when i changed the brake fluid hopefully by the end of the month.

Can I ask what mileage you've done in that time in your cars - you seem to be obsessively changing things for the sake of it?

You can I do no more than 4000 miles per year in each FL2 i have two so overall around 8,000 miles.

Most my work carried out is preventive, so visual check on the pads, discs i can see are ok on the Orkney which i have only had 12 months.

The Tambora flame the discs have been on for about 4yrs or so pads a couple of years, i have new caliper fro both front and back which i intend to put on and new discs that then should see the car ok for the next 4yrs plus by which time i will be 70yrs old
