Can I ask what mileage you've done in that time in your cars - you seem to be obsessively changing things for the sake of it? All four of my Freelander 2's have been maintained as necessary, all of them doing at least 20,000 miles a year, with an additional oil change at 10,000 miles. Not had any failures with any of them, apart from the third one which ate it's PTU at 115,000 miles. |

You can I do no more than 4000 miles per year in each FL2 i have two so overall around 8,000 miles. Most my work carried out is preventive, so visual check on the pads, discs i can see are ok on the Orkney which i have only had 12 months. The Tambora flame the discs have been on for about 4yrs or so pads a couple of years, i have new caliper fro both front and back which i intend to put on and new discs that then should see the car ok for the next 4yrs plus by which time i will be 70yrs old |

I don't rate those one man bleed kits. Much prefer the Gunsons Easibleed which is pressurised with spare tyre.
