United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Hmmm, that's interesting Mike. I hope it isn't the timing belt, it's only done about 18k since it was changed. Is it possible to see the timing belt without really removing anything?

Just a thought, if the TC had failed would it effectively connect or disconnect the engine to the transmission? 2010 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Auto

I've had the front right wheel off to gain access to the crankshaft pulley and I tried rotating it with a ratchet on the bolt. The crankshaft appears to rotate alright. I had my wife watch the flywheel to make sure it was rotating as I turned the pulley and it was. Hopefully I can rule out engine seizure. Is it starting to look more like TC or transmission might be the issue? 2010 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Auto
