Tempted to get the Haldex serviced at the same time or is that a easy DIY job?

To service the haldex properly you need to drain the old fluid and remove the haldex pump and clean its own filter as well as replacing the "replaceable" filter.
The "replaceable "filter is hard to get at on the Gen 4 haldex compared to the Gen 3 and I found it easier to remove the haldex unit.

On some models the damper is so wide that it needs to be removed to get the haldex pump out. This in turn requires the propshaft to be removed.

None of this requires special tools or high technical skill, just time. (Ive done it twice). Jules
