Not a problem as long as you aren’t driving through water. Even driving fast through puddles can drive water up that high and a wet air filter isn’t going to end well. |

The air intake is the left hand grill/indicator repeater on the wing/fender. Air goes in there and then along a duct above the wheel arch before entering the engine compartment. The right hand grill is just a dummy. |
