I had a similar problem which turned out to be the interior motion sensor for the alarm. I did a bit of searching on here and found a few ideas, one being unplugging it and cleaning it out and it was surprising how much debris had collected inside it. Having said that it made no difference so I then did a hard reset on the car (disconnect the battery for 1/2 an hour. Don't forget to reset your one touch window function) and that cured the problem. I have since found that if you have a diagnostic code reader or can get the DTC's read it will confirm that is/was the problem. I found this out after buying a more in depth reader (JLR specific) and finding and deleting the historic stored DTC's. Been fine since. Hope that helps 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep
