Hello all...I'm going away with the caravan in a month, 1st time with the freelander,Had the car for about 18 months now,its a 2011 auto,replaced all the timing belts and waterpump,just wondering what spare parts to carry, I've heard about turbo pipes splitting , just not sure what to take,,any suggestions would be appreciated thanks mike |

Prevention is better than cure, check everything that is a common issue before you go, other than that as previously mentioned but oil, coolant, PAS fluid, and crank sensor?

From my experience the the FL2 is generally reliable.

Intercooler hose let go on mine last year while towing the caravan. Nothing a little DIY in a supermarket carpark and later at the caravan site couldn't fix!

After the submersible pump failed on the caravan once we carry a spare one of those now as thing’s always seems to break at night or away from shops. |

The original ones are stainless steel and will be perfectly OK to reuse. Standard 7mm bolt head. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
