Perhaps it's the FL2's battery.

I think there was another related thread. Mine has not started initally a few times. I know when it's going to happen, as when I put the key in the ignition, the electronic steering lock doesn't release. LR did a software update on it and thus far it's been ok. When this has happened it made a buzzing sound when pressing the start button, but it didn't crank. After taking the key in and out a couple of times it worked and started. When this happened, it also reset the trip computer - very odd. Be interested to learn if LR find anything different with yours Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass |

make sure your not parked in such a way that the steering wheel is putting pressure on the steering lock, in the same way as the steering lock can jam against a normal car key sometimes. Someone on here had a non start related to that problem At work

9 days, that is dreadful, what on earth were they doing, rebuilding the car piece by piece? I hope they looked after you both with a replacement vehicle and that the repair is 100% effective. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ... but not any more ... ... psst look at my gallery! Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013. |

All seems fine now, dealer was very helpful and LR supplied one of their Range Rover hire cars which had no problems (made sure I put some miles on it and visited some friends in remote places - 1,800 miles in 7 days )
