United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame
rear sumframe removal advice

HI All

I recently bought a 2007 Freelander HSE with 107k mileage and fsh as a second car - the garage had put on a replacement second hand subframe which is fine but I would like to remove it to clean it up and also clean up the underside around it as it all has surface rust and I would like to get a good 5 years out of the car - is there anything to look out for or any specialist tools needed - it all looks fairly simple and i would like to do it while it is still all fresh from being fitted and not any siezed bolts etc

thanks

will

I had a garage renew mine but all I will suggest on replacement put lots of grease maybe look at something like Lanoguard on the out runner arm bolts and have the tracking checked then re grease again
