Its easy to tell the difference, freelander 1's are the ones at the side of the road with the bonnet up. with exception of pinkies fl2 that appears to also be a 1  At work

Muddywheels, I am dead envious, floated the idea of buying a F/L 1 3dr as a summer motor to the gaffer last week, says she misses the fresh air though suggested she had other plans for any if any spare money. Told I should be satisfied with yhe F/L I have got still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

Gone for the extended warranty due to all the negative reliability feedback - never had a problem with my mk1 s/w years ago though

Never had a soft top seemed like a bit of a knucle skinner like the shower cover just carried a old tarp which just throwed over the top of the car when parked in the rain. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit
