Muddywheels, I am dead envious, floated the idea of buying a F/L 1 3dr as a summer motor to the gaffer last week, says she misses the fresh air though suggested she had other plans for any if any spare money. Told I should be satisfied with yhe F/L I have got still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

Hi upnaway

Been thinking about getting a 3dr since I sold my MG. Ideal for my kayaking and the dog so decided to take the plunge now prices are lower Thumbs Up

Gone for the extended warranty due to all the negative reliability feedback - never had a problem with my mk1 s/w years ago though Confused

Looking for a soft top now for the summer and will keep hardtop for winter - not sure I can trust the shower cover. Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Never had a soft top seemed like a bit of a knucle skinner like the shower cover just carried a old tarp which just throwed over the top of the car when parked in the rain. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit
