Has this been used for low speed short journeys? might have to go to main dealer for forced regen? how long have you had it? 2013 FL2 XS.

Touching wood I've never had the slightest dpf issue or even been aware that it's doing a regen on mine. I suppose fairly regular towing a caravan on the motorway gets it hot enough to prevent such issues? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Having done 45,000 - 100,000 & 30,000 miles respectively in three DPF equipped Freelanders, I've never seen a warning light come on for the DPF.

Not having a DPF i can only suggest you try one of the DPF cleaners available from Halfords.

Just wondering what are the live values for the exhaust gas temp sensors, the DPF pressure differential sensor and the O2 sensor. If they are not reporting correctly will it not impact the DPF regen |

I believe they can be removed and physically flushed out, similar to a radiator, with suitable chemicals, not really a diy job. The internet appears to say that you need to apply some diagnostic/procedures to get over the problem once the code is showing.

Thats the 2.0 ingenium engine which is notorious for DPF and oil dilution problems due to the DPF being too far away from the enging to get hot enough its a design fault, fortunateley FL2 due not suffer from this. 2013 FL2 XS.

Yes I tried this in a Audi 2.0 TDi which had the DPF light come, put it in the fuel and went on a fast motorway run after 15 mins the light went out and never came back on till I sold it couple of months later. 2013 FL2 XS.
