After having my turbo changed I started getting underboost AND over boost warnings but I don't remember symptoms just the warning popping up.

First check is for holes or leaks in the boost hoses/pipes. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

MAP readings are good. The car is working fine. Those codes are fake as long as you dont feel any power. loss. Stop throwing money Check boost pressure sensor electric circuit, see that the wires has intact isolation and if one of them does not touch the metal or other wire somewhere from time to time. The whole run, from sensor to the ECM. I had a similar problem dor eight month I was looking for a solution, and I found a intermitent short circuit between two wires in a loom of 12 wires run. |

I’m resurrecting and old post here, but I have a very similar problem. Bomeo, can you please tell me whereabouts your short circuit was found. So I can check mine too? What caused the short? Chafing? Corrosion? Rodents? Thanks! |

I don know if you have the same problem. My Freelander is left hand drive. On the left side, were you put your feet after depress the clutch, under the carpet, there is a loom of wires. There I found a short between one wire and mass wire. Because you move your feet many times in that position the wires underneath rubs one each other untill they make intermitent electrical contact. |
