In my experience, the low fuel reading wiring fault, caused the engine to go into protect mode, when fuel gauge indicated very low fuel.

Well, at minimum get any (pending) codes read. The check engine light could be for many reasons. |

Hi Yes it does for the diesel to protect the high pressure pump, however it doesn't for the petrol.as low fuel poses no issues (obviously unless you run out!!) Just wondering if multiple low fuel warnings could trigger a engine fault, seems unlikely but..... |
