35 mile run this morning quiet A and B roads, motorway and dual carriageway. Kept slightly below speed limits on each road.

I’d have to say I find this truly astonishing. That’s almost as good as my 2.0 Jaguar XF which is svelte and altogether a more modern motor car than the FL2. My Td4 can just about manage the very low 30s if I really go carefully. Could it be that the Sd4 is better than the Td4? Or is there some magic trick? It’s not like you can adjust the carburettors. |

Mine is definitely better after a couple of 200 mile + trips at motorway speeds. It's more sprightly, and more economical too. Diesels soot up, so like to be driven nice and hard for a few hours, which helps clean out the accumulated soot from the combustion chambers and CAT. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Trouble is, it would cost a blxxdy fortune to take the FL2 out for a 200 mile blast! |
