I am looking to take the plunge and have the 40:50 Muddy Mods lift kit installed on my Freelander. Just wondering if anyone on this forum currently has the kit installed on their car and what their experiences are of it? Did it affect the driveability of the car on road? Has it thrown out any the geometry of the car and produced any odd tyre wear?

Warren (proprietor of Muddy Mods) will have tested and tested any modifications he sells. So it should do what it's supposed to do, without any adverse effects. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone. Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver. 1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project. |

Very nice car RealBeale and thanks for the pictures. Me and my partner are toying up with the idea of weather to do the shocks and springs while we are at it as a sort of preventive maintenance course of action. Out of interest, what brand of shocks did you go for as we are tempted by the Bilsteins?

I went for KYB. I used KYB's on my Freelander 1 aswell., which had a 50mm lift front and back.
