I am looking to take the plunge and have the 40:50 Muddy Mods lift kit installed on my Freelander. Just wondering if anyone on this forum currently has the kit installed on their car and what their experiences are of it? Did it affect the driveability of the car on road? Has it thrown out any the geometry of the car and produced any odd tyre wear?

I have done a search but alot of the threads I come across were from years ago and I'm looking to gauge some feedback from people that have had time to use it on their car for a decent period of time.

Had the kit fitted since Feb 2019. No adverse affects so far. I did, however, change all of the struts at the same time as I had a slight misting on my n/s/r strut and decided I would change all 4, especially as I was having the lift done anyway - killing 2 birds as they say. I have fitted larger 265/60/18 tyres, as the standard size tyres looked too small, like they were off a roller skate. I also fitted 25mm wheel spacers , too.

Warren (proprietor of Muddy Mods) will have tested and tested any modifications he sells. So it should do what it's supposed to do, without any adverse effects.  Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Very nice car RealBeale and thanks for the pictures. Me and my partner are toying up with the idea of weather to do the shocks and springs while we are at it as a sort of preventive maintenance course of action. Out of interest, what brand of shocks did you go for as we are tempted by the Bilsteins?

I went for KYB. I used KYB's on my Freelander 1 aswell., which had a 50mm lift front and back.
