Arrange your insurance first, letting them know it's not taxed and MOT'd. Once the insurance is valid you can drive it legally if you go straight to a garage where you have a pre booked MOT arranged.

Quite often most auction sites will have a trade delivery facility at quite a modest cost, worth asking.

Seen vehicle looks good to me. The auction site use a transportation who has quoted £90 from auction to my MOT garage.

All I have to do now is win it.

Not too bad a cost for the fuss it avoids, sorry you didn’t win that one, good luck with the next I used to always (through the 70,80,90’s) buy our cars at auctions up until they started putting a private buyers premium on auction sales, to keep trade happy, it made buying at auction not much cheaper than buying private or screwing down a dealer. Regards

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Did not get that one but got one at the local auction last week. MY 2010 XS. What struck me was how good it looked. No dings scrathes, except a couple that need a magnifying glass. Inside looks like it has just come from the showroom, just done an oil/filter change. Cambelt next followed by transmission fluid and Haldex.
A few piccys in my gallery.
