I searched the forum but no I have not found a 100% similar issue being described.

So my 2008 started to throw a P0483 code, which is related to the fan performance.

No performance symptoms, apart than when outside the city and cold and down the valley, the temp indicator goes temporarily low, then when accelerating back up and so on. As the car is driven mostly in town, the issue with the temp indicator does not occur often, however on a longer trip beginning of this month I noticed it again at high speed.

No issue with the antifreeze level, the fan starts and blows (maybe it stays on a bit too much after stopping the car, but other than that nothing suspect).

I suspect the fan control module, or could it be the purple wire mentioned here?! just trying to match my symptoms with others here thanks in advance for sharing stuff/ideas.
