First LR2 spotted in movie?

I got excited when I spotted it...

Don't know of any other cameo appearance of a Freelander 2 in movies... 2013 SE TD4 in Mauritius Blue [Written off]

You're not wrong, there, Lightwater.

Movies don't feature EV or modern vehicles.
Vehicles are chosen to denote a driver's personality as quickly as possible.

As there's no character in post-modernist design (in architecture), directors choose older vehicles.

a couple of Freelander 2 were in some episodes of NCIS Los Angeles a few years back, 3 or 4 of them in a convoy for an African warlord or something.

also there have been a few Freelander 1 used in The Walking Dead series but they were rusted out shells with zombies in

I have absolutely no idea, but as you say entirely fictitious as they should have been armoured FFRR so maybe the script writers just had a couple of FL2 lying around that they didn't know what to do with
