I can't really tell, quite possibly. As I said before it's just this noise that is coming right above the left-rear wheel. |

I hear it, too as I normally walk past that part of the vehicle on my way to the house. It's a very quiet, definitely mechanical noise, like an electric pump. Since we don't have air suspension, I guessed it was probably just the fuel pump. Not sure why they would have it run on another minute or two after turning the vehicle off.

I start hearing this "pumping noise under the car, left side (LHD)

On the left rear of the car just above the wheel arch liner is the breather hose for the rear diff, my rear diff went and chucked oil through this pipe hence the reason I know where it is...
