Panic buyers should fill their tanks with all the toilet rolls they bought last year. Steve

Driving through Plymouth yesterday lunch time and the duel carriageway was blocked on the inside lane with a queue of cars waiting to get onto a station forecourt, we whizzed past in the outside lane in our EV Regards

I think I might suggest on Facebook that there may be a honey shortage, due to insufficient bees with flying licences.

For those people with an EV. I note thast last week we ran out of Electricity, and a poor old Coal Fired Power Station had to come out of retirement to save the day so you could charge your EV. Wasn't that kind of it? Due to shaortages one can pick Cauliflowers in Boston for £30 an hour, beats lorry driving! |

Elderly woman interviewed in the queue yesterday said she "drove a hybrid, predominately electric but needed to have some petrol by way of back up". She'd apparently been in that queue about an hour and although we never got to see the car, from the roof-lining and stitching to the seats and headrests, it was something at the top end. Difficult to see why she'd need to sit in a queue for fuel. Probably didn't spend more than £25 |
