Not sure what ac compressor looks like on freel2 but I just today replaced the ac clutch on my wife's vw tiguan. Centre bolt came loose allowing the splines on the clutch to wear away. Cheap easy fix, replacement clutch cost £12. Worth checking? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Have you had a diagnostic read done on the HVAC system? That's the place to start. The HVAC module will know why the compressor isn't being activated, and will store an associated code. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

I've a similar problem on mine though air con blows fine whilst moving but when pootling or stationary it blows ambient. I can here a motor/pump (near offside front wheel area) regularly periodically kicking in whilst stationary.

I think the rad fan is failing intermittently. Search the forum for rad fan replacement and see if it's in your budget. It could also be the rad fan controller module but that not easily available separately. |
