Hi all my wife has spoke so it must be done she has her freelander 2 2011 sd4 auto, and i have to find 4 new tyres for her, we need all terrains as we live of the beaten track, and its killing the pirellis, the current tyre size are 235-60-18" can i go slighlty bigger or not needed? i dont want to strain the old haldex unit. any ideas on what to look for? i am based in South Wales |

if you want winter tyres you wont beat vredeinstien Wintrac extreme 4s

I would second MartynB's comment. The right tyre, not a bigger one.

I have Pirelli AT plus 255/60 R18 (they don't do a 235/60 R18) The advantages of a wider tyre is a bit more protection for the rims from kerbs. The diameter a bit closer actual speed.
