Mileage since Covid-19

From July to October last year I did 13,000 km & had the car serviced after our little trip across Australia. Since then due to fire & plague the car has only been driven 689 km - 428 miles.

Earlier in 2019 went from Sydney to Hobart Tasmania 1,600 km one way, can't even do that anymore!

In 9 months have only filled the car once, still got 50 litres of petrol in containers I filled up before Christmas so couldn't even take advantage of the really cheap fuel prices. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Yeah, mine has done only 366 miles from point of MOT 3/3/20 til this week.

I then calculated the running costs, tax, ins, fuel .......... I was shocked !!

It was better when I did 8,000 miles a year !!!!

Big Cry Big Cry

only 20 miles since March 21st . . . .that is only for 5 trips to the chemist and back . . . Whistle

car starts every time with a 5 year old battery, it is expensive not running it, but I think of all the fuel money saved instead of the road tax spent Bow down 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -

& that was probably to reduce blood pressure. In previous times would have been to increase blood pressure! Laughing Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I've been at work throughout so same daily mileage, though it is only 6 miles each way. Been picking up though English Heritage and National Trust sites reopened - been trying to get out and walking as and when work allows

Just filled the tank a second time since October 2019. I didn't need to as I still have 50 litres, but it was cheap.

The odd trip to the shops is basically the only driving. Actually driven it out of the garage for other tasks in the garage more often.
16 kph average speed
26.1L/100 km

I have been charging the batteries every few weeks. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
