Hi adrian_fl2, I see you have a Tonga Green with alpaca HSE I would be very interested to see some good quality photos of your FL2 as the Green photos I have seen dont really show how nice it really is

I agree with other posts about the radio; DIGITAL does not apply unless it has been specified as extra, the selection button is there in the same way as the CD button also selects AUX - but only if somehtig is fitted as an input source. Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

Thanks for your replies - subsequently found the HSE does have the silver trim - which I prefer. And apparently its got a LR swan neck towbar too ! But no DAB... well you can't have everthing....

Sale fell through ... it was in a pretty shoddy way for a 12month old car - they were asking 22k for HSE manual at main dealer - damage to front and rear bumbers, scarched wing mirrors, 4 parking dents, scuffs all round... not happy....

Hi NBD. Autotrader is your friend. Saw this advert recently, when looking for a Stornoway Grey HSE FL2 recently. I was considering it but noticed from the pictures that it was a manual, not an Automatic as advertised. Bit higher than your £22K you were going to pay for your last FL2, but a good bit of haggling should get you nearer your target price. Oh and first post. Had my Freelander 2 HSE 2009MY (08 Plate) Automatic in Stornoway Grey - sorry CG - since Saturday. Bought it from those nice people at CHPR. And so far, very pleased with it. |

If that is really Tangiers Orange, it must be a special order, ex G4 challenge vehicle or has been resprayed. This colour has not been offered as a normal Freelander 2 colour, only Tambora Orange (metalic) on early models.

If it was a vehicle prepared for the cancelled G4 event ten it may have few holeo drilled into to it where the extra equipment was fitted then removed. the colour shouldnt be a huge deal depreciation wise if you are keeping it for 5 yrs + At work

I don’t agree with CG on resale . Any vehicle is easier to sell 5-years on, if it has a "popular" colour. Black, Dark Blue, Silver and Grey are easy sellers, Bright colours and rare colours for the model concerned are more difficult to sell especially when there are plenty of choice on the market.
