I have been implementing the heated seats function on my Freelander 2 HSE from 2008 for a year, everything works very well, however SDD gives me an error on the HVAC module that I cannot eliminate in the CCF everything looks perfectly configured, but the error persists can someone help me solve?

I have no idea but could it be as simple as creating and uploading a new configuration file that includes the new parameters that you have already successfully made operational? Maybe in PDI, customization????<<<< I am "amateur spitballing" & I know nothing!!!

Change the coupe filter to air quality system and see if the error is changing in something that indicates a missing component.

today I modified the CCF as you recommended, but the error remained, and one has been added, the one relating to the missing air quality sensor.
while I was flashing the CCF, a perhaps stupid question occurred to me ... in your opinion, how many times is it possible to rewrite the CCF of the Freelander 10, 100, or 1000 times? Could there be a limit to rewrites?

Regarding the error:
I've seen that error on many cars and seems to be, more or less, related to the HVAC software version and the presence (or not) of the air quality sensor.
This is why I've suggested that to you.
I've seen that modules with AH52-18D619-AD SW version does not generate that error.
You probably have the 6H52-18D619-AF or 6H52-18D619-AE version that is generating that error.
Also seems that the AH... SW version uses a slight different HW version than the 6H... SW versions.

Regarding the flash:
Depends on the CJB flash memory type that holds the CCF and the temperatures the car is/was subjected during time.
Flash memories endurance decreases drastically with higher temperatures. But less than 1000 I believe it's a safe zone.
Normally, the flash memories used in automotive have more than 100000 cycles.
Except for some microcontrollers, and the CJB main microcontroller is one of them, where the endurance is less than 100 (!!!) cycles.

number 2 is a module that generated the error when it was replaced and implemented to operate the heated seats



num 3 is the last mounted and configured to attempt to eliminate the error

if the problem is software would it be possible to write older software using SDD 139 software_download?

All have the same HW part number (older one) and the SW part number just as in my previous post.
Because you have two modules on the bench, you can test and see if you can write the new version.

I would like, having seen the advice, to try to modify the software in a forced way.

Hello! I apologize for bringing up an old topic.
I have the same problem as the author. But I installed a heated seat and a PTC heater. I installed the HW 6H52-14C239-EB module, but the PTC did not work. I tried to flash it but the SDD updated it according to the VIN.
