Make sure you delete any previously paired phone first.

Have you checked its compatible? I upgraded to an iPhone 11 that I couldn't link to my 63 plate so was forced to stick with the iPhone 6 if I wanted to stay hands-free. The latest compatible iPhone is the 7plus Shocked although I believe there are others on here that have managed to link later models.

Main problem seems to be that business i mentioned with the locking symbols on the sat nav screen. Until i can get past that i think i will not be able to go any further with deleting old phones if any and pairing new ones.
