External temp sensor

Hi all, ive just joined the forum having todsy bought a 2011 td4 gs, ive noticed that there is no reading on the temperature gauge on the dash, im thinking the sensor thsts mounted in the n/side wing mirror is kaput, can anyone enlighten me with how yo swsp it for a new sensor, thanks in advance Thumbs Up

Hi and welcome this may not work and I recommend it so much but have you tried disconnecting the battery for half an hour then reconnecting it ?
