I know you said gentle acceleration to get out to happen, but when you're mid judder, accelerate hard. It disappears or remains? |

If i accelerate mid judder it disappears... If i accelerate normally/hard from below that speed i don't notice it at all, and if i then coast until just below 60km/h i also don't feel it - only during gentle acceleration up to just below 60km/h... I haven't confirmed revs - it doesn't seem to be related to revs, but will check. |

I haven't changed fluid but can confirm it was recently topped up. Up hills is better, normal power is better, gentle acceleration is worse..., it seems speed related not rev related. |

Can you give a bit more information on car history please, such as mileage, servicing, past problems, otherwise it is pure guesswork.

It's done 210 000 km (what's that - 130K miles?), been looked after and serviced well.

Does it feel like you’re driving over a small cattle grid?

Would a failing torque converter only show symptoms at 60km/h (35 mph), no other speed or revs? |

Doesn't really sound like the ptu or gearbox judder, mine was rev based and got worse trying to accelerate through it. Id be on the steering /wheels side of things also |

If I grab hold of my rear drive shafts and jerk them there's some play, making a light clicking sound at the wheel side. What is the tolerance?
