Yep - only sold it due to a 6 mile commute to work so was worried about the DPF, did the odd 20 mile each way run down the motorway every 2 weeks before work to keep it clean but though it a waste of time |

I spent a lot of time on the FL when i bought it, pulled off the side plastics and cleaned/ polished behind them, wheels off for a full clean/ sealant, changed badges to gloss black ones, did a few changes/ upgrades inside and out, had a full service inc all filters and oils (diff, gearbox inc) done by a specialist. I loved that FL, drove perfect, looked great with the bodykit, 19"s and brilliant white paintwork, i'll never find another that good I also had the side strips fitted and colour coded |

I did look at getting a petrol FL a while back but after seeing the RFL cost it was a definite no-go

Took the words right out of my mouth. There just doesn't seem to be anything viable in between a Suzuki Jimny and a Toyota Landcruiser. There's a thread somewhere on this forum that talks about alternatives, problem is, there isn't one. And no, I'm not going to touch a Subaru Forrester. 2013 SE TD4 in Mauritius Blue [Written off] |
