I can't see why not but I haven't tried it myself even though I had all the trim panels off many times. What I have found, it is easier to leave the windows down so you can get the machanical door lock connection connected again. It does go back together easily but you do need to line it up precisely.

Some people enjoy taking cleaning to the extreme - in fact there is a whole industry based on this "detailing"

I thought you meant you where going to clean the lock "Motor" I would leave it alone not worth the risk, just spend a bit more time cleaning the window trims/rubbers and Gummi pflege the door seals . my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars! But its now gone way up Norf |
