This is true, the only solid figure will be mortality per capita eventually..........even the official figures are (in medical circles) known to be clever estimates, keep safe out there. I'd be very surprised if she was intubated and ventilated. It would be a highly questionable decision to subject a 102 year old with pnuemonia to the horrors of ICU under normal circumstances let alone at a time when ICU resources are stretched like never before. Jules |

Both my sister and niece (her daughter) work at one of the major hospitals in Birmingham. They are both worried as so many staff members are off sick leaving too few staff to cope. My sister also states that the hospitals are full of the same demographic of people. The same demographic who seem to refuse to stay away from places of worship.
