Subscribing to this thread, I am pretty sure someone with the answer will be along shortly but I think the cluster will likely have to be coded/matched/registered to the FL2 with SDD. |

At the very least I would think it would have to have the VIN re-programmed & be synced with the BCU. Which ever IPAC/BCU has the higher mileage, is what you will end up with. Unless you have access to all the required gear, you will not be able to diy it. Your indy understands all this & is why he will only fit a new unit.
