My last off road driving/training day with SE4X4 Response, my Freelander 2 embarrassed 2 Defender 90s on negotiating the elephants footprints and Steep hill descents. probably driver errors, but it left a great feeling ![]() Dave DAVE. |

The velar is a seriously good car in the rough, especially with its air suspension and increased wading depth. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I think the 'Old Lags' of LR, just can't reconcile that Ford built a good vehicle with the FL2 |

It would be pretty embarrassing when the Freelander finishes the course & half the others don't.

Our first LR was the Freelander with the BMW Diesel engine and auto box, it was a lovely car......of course bought with the Ford discount we got when Ford took over LR.....discounts were great back then 25% off new RRP......lucky to get 8% now ![]() I get more discount on a new LR now ![]() David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |

You certainly attach the rope somewhere down there. Remember to use a damper just in case something snaps! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
