FL2 not welcome at LR Experience ?

Just had an email from LR Experience West Country. Looks like Freelanders are not welcome

We're so excited to announce some upcoming dates for our Trec Days in 2020!

Our Trec Days will be taking a slightly different format to what we've done previously, so let us explain...

In order to continue to improve our Trec Days, in 2020 we will be running Trec Days based on a specific vehicle type. We will have 4 types of Trec Day across the year;

Type A- Defender Only (including Series Land Rovers)

Type B- Evoque, Discovery Sport & Velar

Type C- Range Rover Sport, Range Rover & Discovery

Type D- Any of the above

Of course, if you have any questions relating to which 'type' your vehicle would fit into, you can contact our team here.
 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

You should easily join in as a type 'B'.

Just be sure not to show up the rest by using your FL2's ability to the full. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

The velar is a seriously good car in the rough, especially with its air suspension and increased wading depth. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I think the 'Old Lags' of LR, just can't reconcile that Ford built a good vehicle with the FL2 Laughing Laughing

The Lags had the same problem when LR was owned by BMW !!

It would be pretty embarrassing when the Freelander finishes the course & half the others don't.

Make sure you have a snatch strap to pull them out!

You certainly attach the rope somewhere down there. Remember to use a damper just in case something snaps! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

My mistake, 6.5 tonne snatch limit through its body tow eyes Thumbs Up

Not bloody bad for an aluminium construction monocoque body. Regards

David
